Since 1973, the Montford Park Players (MPP) have been presenting free productions of Shakespeare in Asheville, NC. We encourage participation by people of all ages and backgrounds, and we celebrate our diversity. What we all hold in common is a love of Shakespeare and a delight in presenting his plays to our friends and neighbors in Western North Carolina.

The Lincoln Theatre Guild, Lincoln County's home of live stage theatre, is a founding member of the Lincoln Cultural Center and a member of the Metrolina Theatre Association.

Since 1967, Rutherford Community Theatre has produced a wide variety of comedies, dramas, musicals, and murder mysteries. We are proud to be the oldest theatre organization in Rutherford County.

SMCT is a volunteer driven non-profit organization and we invite anyone interested in becoming involved in any aspect of the theatre to call or come by. Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday.
